Our Passion
Generosity And Compassion

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed (Proverbs 19:17).

Freely you have received; freely give (Matthew 10:8).

God desires a people whose biblically-saturated worship of Him is conspicuously marked by kindness and compassion. In fact, compassion is an intrinsic attribute of a true disciple because it is the evidence of a transformed heart, a heart bearing God's fingerprints—rich in love towards others and characterized by mercy and good deeds.

Throughout both Testaments of Scripture, we see God's heart and compassion for the poor. Not caring about and forgetting the needs of the poor is unthinkable to God (Deuteronomy 15:7, 11; Psalm 41:1; Proverbs 14:21, 22:9; Galatians 2:10; Ephesians 4:28; 1 Timothy 6::18, and many others).

So...a heart of generosity greatly matters to Jesus, our King.

Heart In Heaven is a giving grass-roots initiative for those who feel a sustained tug on their hearts to help reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ, and to show compassion to the least of these, as Scripture instructs. It appeals to those who see the massive poverty and great physical needs in the world and decisively refuse to not do something about it. Reminiscent of Jesus’ teachings in the talent and mina parables (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:11-27), they view this platform as a strategic way to maximize their giving, to mobilize the greatest personal compassion, and to robustly enhance their eternal portfolio.
